Our story begins in Carpi, thanks to the boundless passion for the world of engines of our entrepreneur, Andrea Bisi. It's a passion in his blood, as Andrea was born into a family of body shop professionals who have been in the business for over 50 years with great acclaim.
The decision to embark on a different path, while still connected to the world of bodywork, stems from the desire to enhance and revive vintage cars, a mix of love, creativity, and technique in a single project.

It is passion, therefore, that leads Andrea to build the AB Auto of today, with his own concept of restoration. To reach this milestone, he first gained various professional experiences, including years at the Modena-based company Bacchelli e Villa, renowned internationally in the restoration sector. There, he collaborated with one of the heads of what was once the famous Scaglietti body shop, which saw the birth of the renowned cars marked by the prancing horse, cars that we now restore.

Some renowned projects we have worked on include cars from the house of the trident, Maserati, such as the iconic Ghibli model and the grand tourismo 3500 designed by Touring and Vignale; vintage Ferrari cars like the 250 GT PININFARINA spider and coupé, 250 GTE, 250 GT LUSSO, 250 GT California, 250 GT SWB, 275 GTS Spider and 275 GTB; as well as some models like the Alfa RomeoA Giulietta spider.
